Information you provide directly:

• Email address — collected when you submit our email capture form on the quiz result page or notify-me forms.
• Quiz responses — your answers to our readiness assessment questions (credit score range, biggest concern, debt-to-income situation, timeline). No Social Security numbers are collected.
• Purchase information — name and payment details submitted through Stripe when purchasing a report. We do not store full payment card numbers; Stripe handles all payment processing.
• Support messages — any information you send to our support email.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, and device type, collected through standard web analytics tools.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used for site functionality, analytics, and session management. You may adjust cookie settings in your browser.

We do not pull your credit report, collect your Social Security number, or request bank login credentials.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the CreditReady readiness assessment and reports.
• Deliver purchased reports and action plans to you.
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, report delivery).
• Notify you of new product launches you requested to be informed about.
• Respond to support requests and refund inquiries.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information to make credit decisions, report to credit bureaus, or engage in automated decision-making that produces legal effects on you.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers — third-party vendors who help us operate the service (e.g., Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for secure data storage, Resend for email delivery, Vercel for hosting). These parties are contractually bound to protect your information.
• Legal compliance — if required by law, subpoena, or government authority.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Quiz lead emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Purchased report data is retained for up to 3 years to support refund and dispute resolution.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure third-party processing for payments (Stripe), and role-based access controls for stored data (Supabase Row Level Security). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations.
